David Bartlett Park

Family Friendly

The Park offers a large area of open space, perfect for dogs of all sizes to play, wrestle, or practice their retrieving skills with balls or sticks; trails for those who are less inclined so socialize (no judgement here); and water access for the swimmers among us.  Bordered by the Rideau River, residential homes and the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority, the Park offers something for every dog – and dog walker – to enjoy.

Our Mission

Off-Leash

Come on by!

The Park

David Bartlett Park is 35 acres of beautiful greenspace located less than 30 minutes from downtown Ottawa in the Village of Manotick, Ontario.  The Park is designated as an Off-Leash facility by the City of Ottawa.

Welcome!

Established in 2011, the David Bartlett Park Dog Walkers’ Association is composed of caring and dedicated dog owners and dog walkers who are committed to ensuring the Park retains its off-leash designation.   We do this by:

  • soliciting support from law enforcement agencies, ward councillor, other community associations and City of Ottawa officials; and,
  • promoting responsible usage of the facility by all park users in order to maintain a respectful, safe, and clean environment for all park users.
